2015 - present

I have been teaching the French Immersion entry point for the past 9 years, both at the Grade 1 and Grade 3 level. I work closely with the Resource team and feel supported when working to improve the education of all of my students. Technology is a big part of my teaching practice and students are engaged in my interactive teaching practices.

Royal Road Elementary School

2011-2015

My years at Royal Road were rewarding and full of learning experiences. In my classroom, I guided students in many enrichment projects and incorporated technology in different and meaningful ways. One of the more memorable projects was an ambassador exchange with a private school in Fredericksburg West Virginia. Aside from the more common pieces of technology used on a daily basis, such as netbooks, iPad and the Smart Board, I frequently used Senteo devices to help with assessment and provide excellent and interactive review.
